This is "FIFTY SHADES OF HAY", a gentle, pretty, and muscular BLACK QUARTER HORSE MARE that is fun and easy to ride. This mare has been ridden by a lady in her late 60's on many trail rides. She has been ridden by youth riders for lessons in the indoor and outdoor arenas. She is 14 years old and stands 14.3 hands tall. She is no nonsense and goes wherever you ask her to. She will ride out alone and also has been ridden in large groups. She is fine either way and good to lead or follow. This mare will go through mud, ice, and snow with no problems. She has excellent ground manners, she stands tied, loads, bathes, and hauls with no fuss. She will ride double and bareback with no problems and also in just a halter and lead rope. She has been in the pastures to check cattle, in the indoor arenas with youth riders, and out on the trails in deep water and thick timber. She has lots of heart and stamina and will go all day long. She will not go any faster than asked and she is easy to control and ride. She is a nice horse to have around for any level rider to enjoy.
